A lecture titled "Free Education and Freedom for Education in Sri Lanka" was delivered by Prof. Sanath Lamabadusuriya recently to the medical students at the newly set up Sabaragamuwa Medical Faculty. It was delivered during the orientation course and the students were requested to give their written responses. A few photographs taken during the ceremony are given below together with Sanath Lama's power point presentation.

It's great to see our friend and colleague, Sanath, presenting these talks on extremely important subjects and his work and interests go far out of the usual confines of medical interest. It is a great honour for us to see our batch mate's work making such an impact. I am sure everyone joins me in wishing him great success in his work. Zita
