I am dumb struck, honestly! This is fabulous! It's a treasure trove of real photos of Cities and towns in Sri Lanka which even people who lived there continuously can't hope to visit or take photos of. And so many facts! I can spend months with this post, just reading, looking at the photos and being amazed. Thanks a lot! So if you don't hear from me much, you know what I am doing! Thanks, Lucky! This is a very good idea! Zita
ReplyDeleteLucky, this is a fabulous collection of photos which would undoubtedly keep me busy (like Zita ), for the next few days. Could you please send me an e-mail so that I could forward it to my friends, who do not access our blog.

This time, I looked at the Sigiriya photos. They are fantastic! And they take me back to the few times, I have been up there taking visiting friends to show off our Sri Lankan heritage, and finding myself too being enthralled by what I saw. This place is truly one of the Wonders of the world and we ought to be proud of it. I have not been up there for years and I hope that it is well preserved and looked after as we owe it to Nature that gave us this wonder. I'll be back when I have explored some of the other places mentioned. Zita
