Beautiful, Razzack.

Thanks Indra,
ReplyDeleteThe Yellow Lilly is of interest as it is called the "Dinner Plate" Lilly. The 'plant' grows to a height of 10 feet tall --- now towers over me by at least 3 feet over my head!!
There are a lot more to bloom and shall post them as & when.
We are seeing some amazing pictures from you Raz and Indra. Such glorious colours. Your Lillies, are they better than your "orchids!"?
ReplyDeleteSecond from top is "Hybrid Peruvian Lilly"
DeleteThat was Mahen, after the 'orchidectomy'...!!
Not after I was 'made' a Muslim!!!
You have both asiatic & day lilies. I have only DAYLILIES but about 50-60 of them which I missed as I was in CMB.

Thanks Indra,
DeleteShame you missed out on your Lillies!!
Blink and they are gone!!
I have about the same amount of lillies -- give or take.
As our weather is slightly behind yours as a result the flowering is just behind you. At the moment we are having gale force winds and causing damage to the flowers--- so much for my toil!!.
Raz
ReplyDeleteGreat photos.
nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteVous avez une très bonne collection. Vous devez être fier de vous! (just continuing Nihal's idea as the English Language alone is not enough to appreciate your efforts, Razaque! from Zita
ReplyDeleteThirima kasi, Zita.
Deletegood luck!
ReplyDeletequ'est-ce que tu racontes Zita?
DeleteHope you don't mind my reply this late, Mahendra. I suppose my French isn't that good anyway. I meant to say 'you have a good collection. You ought to be really proud of yourself.' I better 'watch my language' hear after! Zita
DeleteBlog gone French?
ReplyDeleteThought I had woken up in Gay Paree !
Razaque-all I can manage to write from down here in the antipodes is-Belles fleurs-Je vous remercie !!
I would never dare speak it !!
Thanks Rohini Ana,
DeleteI do not speak nor write nor understand this foreigner's lingo. It means nothing to me-- might as well be Tongan, Swahili, Maori or Fijian!!!
Could we please get back to our normal service or else this Blog might degenerate into mayhem!!
Reminds me of the Mad Hatters Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland. We are returning to our second childhood. Must be the magic mushrooms
ReplyDeleteAs for me, thought it was the Poppies that I have in my garden. You will see some images soon.
DeleteOf the Poppy blooms I mean, and not the harvesting or use of its latex!!

Hope is like a harebell trembling from its birth,
ReplyDeleteLove is like a rose the joy of all the earth;
Faith is like a lily lifted high and white,
Love is like a lovely rose the world's delight;
Harebells and sweet lilies show a thornless growth,
But the rose with all its thorns excels them both.
