SLMA Doctors' Concert 2018

The annual Doctors' Concert of the Sri Lanka Medical Association (for doctors and their families) held annually in conjunction with the SLMA International Congress was held last evening at the Grand Ballroom of Galadari Hotel. A few of us from our batch attended. They were Sanath Lama, Pram, JC Sura and myself. Pram is one of the Joint Social Secs who organised the show. See pictures below.

    Thanks for posting these photos Lucky. There is a lot of talent out there, certainly.What did Suri's husband Mahendra sing? I have heard of Pradeep Rangana who won the Sirasa super star event in 2007. I didn't know he is still active as a musician. What field of Medicine does he work in?

    His own lyrics of CTF's "Mee Amba Vanaye" and with his daughter an English song. I am not sure in what field of Medicine Pradeep Rangana works in now.

    This is Zita. It's good to see Suri's husband Mahendra and daughter Manique taking part, and to recognise some of our batch mates who take the trouble to attend events and represent our batch. It's one of the advantages of living or being there as one has the best chance of taking part and also being present in the audience which is as important. Thanks a lot for sharing this event with us. Zita
