The following is in relation to the comment (dated June 25, 2017) made by "Anonymous" under ND's article on the Motor Guzzi motorcycle trip with Nalin Nana. This opening statement will avoid any confusion because there have been anonymous comments under other articles before.
You may recall that I requested other viewers to try and identify who this "Anonymous" writer could be. I was looking forward to reading Srianee's (Bunter) verdict which she said was being sent to me as a private e-mail. But I have not received it yet. In the meantime, Sanath Lama and I have been discussing privately, who this might be. As I pointed out earlier, going by the writer's own clues, it has to be someone who passed all three exams in the first attempt. I didn't agree with the name suggested by Sanath, because that person was not one who passed the Finals in one attempt. Then there was the question of Horoscopes and Rebirth and we all know that by far the majority who believe in them are Buddhists.
"Anonymous" has unwittingly helped me in opening this debate under a new topic namely "Guessing Game". If he or she had wanted to make known the writer's identity, the name could have been added as part of the text at the very end. So we cannot assume that this anonymous writer did not know how to make a comment with the name appearing on top. What I mean is that not revealing the identity could have been deliberate.
Anyway, our Guessing Game can continue in the open and the comments if any are bound to be interesting. I sincerely hope that "Anonymous" will watch the fun from the sidelines for a few days and reveal his or her identity towards the end. Considering the number of numerous other commentators who have been commenting under different articles, one positive feature that has emerged is that there are some viewers who make comments but are not familiar with selecting the profile using the dropdown box which provides a choice of profiles.
Good luck with your guesses.

Lucky, this person is not necessarily a buddhist. Hindus do believe in rebirth too. This person refers to horoscopes & Muruga which makes me think you may be mistaken.
ReplyDeleteBy the way what is the march group?
Majority of the batch passed all three MB's on the first attempt.
ia
I realised that error after writing. What I meant was the "December" group (those who passed the 2nd MB in the first attempt).
DeleteYes, I may be mistaken. Could be a Tamil.
DeleteI think the March group consists of the batch=mates who passed the Final MBBS in March 1967
ReplyDeleteSanath
"March" batch is those who fell into a batch three months behind having got referred or failed the 2nd MB.
DeleteCould it be Donald Trump?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous certainly holds the trump card-though his first name may not be Donald !
DeleteHi All ye Sherlocks and Watsons !
ReplyDeleteGuessing from Anonymous' questions to me on the 23rd,following my comment to Srianee on the same date,he/she is likely to have a surname starting with S.(same clinical group).
I can think of some names but it may not be fair to mention them on a public identity parade! Could send some to Lucky if he wishes.
I agree with you Rohini. Surname starts with S and he/she seems to have done the internship in Ratnapura. ( A clue I picked up on an earlier comment.)
DeleteYes please, by e-mail.
ReplyDeleteHi Lucky, It appears you've changed your email- Hope you got my email with the names I could remember- I'm happy for you to share those names with our regular amigos who have been trying to guess.
