The easiest way to trace an old post is to type a keyword in the blank bar with the little magnifying glass right at the top of the page on the left hand side and then press the return key of your computer or left click the little magnifying glass icon inside the search box.
This will bring all posts containing that word. e.g: If you are looking for any that contains info on Mahendra Gonsalkorale (Speedy), just type "Speedy"and all the posts will be seen ordered by date. To get back to the Blog, just click on "Show All posts".
This blog (created in March 2011 by Lucky) is about new entrants to the Colombo Medical Faculty of the University of Ceylon (as it was then known) in June 1962. There were a total of 166 in the batch (included 11 from Peradeniya). Please address all communications to: colmedgrads1962@gmail.com. Another way is to type the search term on the long white bar with "search" on the right hand side. This gives results in a different way. It opens a window below the white bar and provides a list with the initial lines of each post and also shows a series of numbers such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,..... Each number refers to a group of posts. You can click and progress number by number and each click will show you a group with the first few lines of the post. If you click on a post shown, a completely new window opens on your browser while the initial one is still there for you to tab back to. If you expect a lot of posts with the search term criteria, this method is good to quickly go through the posts and locate the one you want to see. Try and experiment and decide which method you prefer.
