50th Anniversary Batch Reunion - Update (3)

I am pleased to send you the latest update on the upcoming 50th Anniversary Batch Reunion. As of today, we have 55 members of the batch who have confirmed attendance. With spouses and guests, we expect nearly 100 participants. The following documents are posted below:

50^th Anniversary Reunion - Final Instructions

1.     All attendees will assemble (with baggage) in the Lobby of Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo 3 on Friday August 31^st at 8.30 am. 

2.     Your baggage will be tagged (Room number and occupants) before being loaded into the coaches. They will be taken to the respective rooms at Chaaya Tranz Hotel in Hikkaduwa. 

3.     Coaches will leave Cinnamon Grand Hotel at 9.00 am. Please make sure that you board one of the coaches well before departure time.  

4.     Please hand over donations of hard liquor to one of the following as you enter the coach:

                S.A.P. Gnanissara

                Lucian Perera 

5.     In case you have not paid the extra payment by August 31^st, please talk to Suriyakanthi Amarasekara or Kusuma Ruberu. 

6.     Dress code will be Casual throughout.  Smart Casual for the Dinner Dance. 

** On Friday August 31^st, a private area (by the side of Crab/Mediterranean) will be fenced out with cadjan covering three sides exclusively for Reunion attendees and related events.

Friday, August  31^st

   10.30 am – 11.00 am Hotel check-in

   1.00 pm – Lunch ( *Private area near the Crab/Mediterranean restaurant)

   2.30 pm – 8.00 pm Free (On your own)

   8.00 pm – Fellowship ( *Private area as above)

   9.00 pm – Dinner (*Special BBQ dinner in the private area near the         Crab/Mediterranean restaurant)

   2.30 pm – 8.00 pm Free (On your own)

   8.00 pm onwards - Dinner /Dance (Ballroom)

Sunday, September 2^nd

  8.00 am – 9.00 am Breakfast (Main restaurant – special section)

  9.30 am – Check-out

  10.00 am – Leave for Colombo
